Adopt a Student

Many Lutheran schools around the country have offered to take in New Orleans Lutheran school students (elementary and high school). Some have offered housing in their homes. Almost all have indicated they would not charge any tuition/take what parents can afford to pay. Some families have already enrolled their children in Lutheran schools. "The look on the faces of the parents when they were told that they would not be charged any tuition was one of tears, amazement, and thanks." If you have not already done so, identify families who have moved from New Orleans to your area who have had their children in Lutheran schools and offer to provide a tuition free Lutheran school education while they sort through the mess in New Orleans.
