Worship this morning at Christ Our Saviour of the Valley with Pastor Lohmeyer, Deanna Cheadle and other members of the congregation
Welcome to West Virginia!
The sign met us as the Holy Spirit guided us to our Mission
in Lewisburg, West Virginia. Our brakes held on the way down the hills and
we enjoyed the scenery, at least the passengers did, the driver was a little
busy guiding us to our Mission Church.
We pulled into Christ Our Savior of the Valley and we were greeted by
Pastor and Judy Lohmeyer. The
congregation was so warm and welcoming and after the service we were treated to
a pot luck dinner. After the two days on
the road a home cooked meal was so welcome.
We met Deanna Cheadle , the deaconess, who accompanied us
back to our motel and helped us get ready for the days ahead for the day camp
and bible school. We have quite a bit of
talent for our skits, so they will be fun and interesting for the
children. Our first day will be two stories: the story of Adam and Eve and then the story
of Noah. We were assigned our parts and
got our costumes. I think we will be having as much fun as the children
will. Pray that the Holy Spirit will be
working through us to reach these little ones with visual stories . Keep us in your prayers for our continued
success as we help share the Love of Jesus with them.
